SOMERVILLE ATTORNEYS NAMED “SUPER LAWYERS”
Somerville, MA (November 5, 2007): Alex L. Moschella and Neal A. Winston, partners in the Somerville, MA law firm of Moschella & Winston, LLP, have been named “Super Lawyers” in a national survey of attorneys conducted by Super Lawyers magazine.
Super Lawyers magazine identifies the top 5% of attorneys in each state across the country, as chosen by their peers and through the independent polling, research and selection performed by Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc. Over 800,000 lawyers nationwide were invited to participate in the survey.
The objective of the Super Lawyers selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and sophisticated consumers in the search for legal counsel.
About Neal Winston
Neal Winston is a nationally recognized government benefits and special needs trust expert, helping the elderly and disabled obtain benefits, and protect and shelter their assets. He writes and lectures extensively on Social Security, Medicaid, SSI, and special needs trusts, and is frequently called upon to consult by other attorneys. He is past President of the state chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, and was selected as a member of the Special Needs Alliance, a national organization of special needs trust experts. Also active in community activities, he is a founder and President of the Belmont Land Trust. Mr. Winston is a graduate of Utica College and Suffolk University Law School. This is his second consecutive year as a Super Lawyer.
About Alex Moschella
For more than 25 years, Alex has dedicated his legal career to helping elders and their families navigate the issues surrounding estate and tax planning, Medicaid, long term care and probate. He has been certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.
Alex is past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Association. He teaches elder law at Suffolk University Law School.
A graduate of Villanova University and Suffolk University Law School, Alex earned the prestigious Charles P. Kindregan, Jr. Award for Extraordinary Contributions to the Center for Advanced Legal Studies.
