Kara is an associate at Moschella & Winston, LLP, with a practice specialty in elder law.
Kara focuses on long-term care planning, including MassHealth planning, applications, and appeals, as well as asset protection planning and estate planning. She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Kara has over 13 years of experience in elder law, beginning her career as a paralegal at Moschella & Winston's precursor firm, MEDLAW, before earning her law degree and becoming an associate with the firm. She has authored a number of publications on Medicaid and estate planning, and also conducts community workshops on these topics.
A graduate of Saint Anselm College, Kara received her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School.
