Michelle M. Mulvena is an associate at the law firm of Moschella & Winston, LLP in Somerville, Massachusetts. She has nearly 10 years of experience serving individuals and families in Somerville and the neighboring communities in the area of elder law, special needs planning, estate and tax planning, probate administration, asset protection planning, Medicare and Medicaid issues, and probate litigation.

Ms. Mulvena is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Board of Directors for the Somerville Chamber of Commerce.

 Ms. Mulvena is very active in the community. She works with SCM Community Transportation to address the complex issues of transportation for seniors, and she participates in the Lawyer of the Day program sponsored by the Somerville Counsel on Aging, which provides free legal advice to seniors in the community. Her activities with the Somerville Chamber of Commerce include planning for various Chamber events such as the annual golf tournament, the Annual Dinner, and the Taste of Somerville. She also hosts the Somerville Chamber’s highly successful Business After-Hours monthly networking event.

Because of her expertise in her field, Ms. Mulvena frequently conducts seminars at local banks, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and schools on such critical topics as estate planning, elder law and special needs planning.  

Ms. Mulvena received a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law.
