Michael R. Couture is an associate at the law firm of Moschella & Winston, LLP, where he specializes in Veterans' benefits, Veterans' healthcare, Medicaid, Social Security, special needs law, and estate planning. He is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He frequently speaks at seminars and workshops on Veterans' benefits and Medicaid at banks, nursing homes, and other facilities.

Mr. Couture is on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Elder Service Plan of Cambridge Health Alliance, the Human Rights Committee at the Walnut Street Center in Somerville, and the Lowell Folk Festival. He is a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and an active fundraiser for MS. He is also a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts and the 100 Club for fallen police officers and firefighters.

Mr. Couture served as a law clerk for Moschella & Winston prior to joining the firm as an attorney. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Suffolk University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor degree.
